Satoyama (Luca Benedetto, Christian Russano, Marco Bellafiore, Gabriele Luttino) are characterised by a deep search for a recognisable sound and style. Since 2013, they have dedicated themselves to the creation of deeply imaginative and dreamlike original music. Over the years they have won several contests and awards, including the under-30 contest of the Barolo Jazz Club and the first prize of the Taste of Jazz festival organised by Novara Jazz. They collaborate with the Chinese artist Lavia Lin, taking their concert with live-painting to Italy, Slovenia and Germany; they are included in the compilation “Nuova Generazione Jazz: Young Jazz from Italy / 2018”, edited by A.D.E.I.D.J. (association of independent jazz labels), I-JAZZ and Il Jazz Italiano. They have played at numerous festivals and clubs in Italy and Europe.
