EartHeart – il cuore della terra (pièce teatrale)

EartHeart - il cuore della terra (pièce teatrale) synthesises the previous phases of the EartHeart project in a new theatrical dimension, plumbing the power of the planet and the wonder of its ecosystems with avant-garde digital tools, immersing the dancers in a perpetual flow of dance, images and sound. EartHeart is a performance that is rooted in the earth and metabolises the experience of contact in order to speak of life, nature and humanity as a single organism. The environment penetrates the body with suggestions, questioning the human being and dialoguing with their actions/physical reactions: we are part of the beating heart of a microcosm that towers above us, immersed in an infinite macrocosm from which a ritual dance springs forth.

Compagnia EgriBiancoDanza directed by Susanna Egri and Raphael Bianco was founded in Turin in 1999. The Company inherits the more than 30 years of experience of the previous Company “I Balletti di Susanna Egri.” It stands out, for a repertoire made up of works full of social and spiritual values signed by Raphael Bianco and choreographers from the Italian and international artistic scene. The EgriBiancoDanza Company embodies some of the distinctive characters and values of the Egri Foundation for Dance: curiosity, roots and innovation, research and sharing. Values that are required of all artists in the Company. EgriBiancoDanza is composed of permanent dancers from top professional backgrounds and has a solid repertoire made up of theatrical performances, to installations and site-specific works that immerse the viewer in the work.
