Duration: 45 min

Fatigue is a choral, vocal and physical performance, about the act of going forward, evoking both a climb and a procession. Since 2019, the project evolved into an international production in between Armenia and Yemen, creating spaces for performances and workshops involving diverse groups of participants: young people and adults, professionals and amateurs, including individuals with disabilities. Through these experiences, Russolillo has gradually immersed herself in Armenia’s cultural and social fabric, forging a deep connection with its people and political realities. The result is a performance in which a plural body confronts the fatigue of a physical and spiritual movement, where breath and singing are at the origin of the choreography. Ascent is often used as a metaphor for achieving a goal or even conquering new territories, but what if there were no peak to reach and the effort took place on an infinitely flat surface? Fatigue stages bodies and voices under strain, moving through a space of both struggle and mutual support, as they create an ephemeral refuge, before the journey continues beyond the spectators' gaze.
