Francesca Foscarini is a contemporary dancer and choreographer who has always combined her artistic research with the sharing of her experience through workshops and laboratories, engaging both professionals and non-professionals. She is passionate about ongoing exploration and the development of strategies that bring the body into a continuously renewed expressive state, generating new somatic writings, meanings, imaginaries, and questions. Alongside her authorial work, which began in 2009 and continues to bring her to major national and international festivals, since 2023 she has collaborated with the Terreni Creativi Festival, curating its dance programming. She is also a tutor for the Incubatore project, a mentorship program for young choreographers directed by Franca Ferrari/CIMD. As a performer, she collaborates with choreographer Andrea Costanzo Martini in the duo Pas de Cheval (2025). In 2013, she co-founded the VAN association with Marco D’Agostin and Giorgia Ohanesian Nardin, later conceiving and curating Cactus | Progetti Spinosi (2022–2024), a project focused on the transmission of choreographic knowledge. In 2025, she joined the Zebra Cultural Association.
