This day-long workshop is dedicated to yoga that focuses on somatic movement and breathing. It pays attention to the discovery of one’s own meditative flow and to how, starting from this, we can explore silence. The sequence of traditional practices that are proposed, such as bramati pranayama, brings mind, body, and breath into relation and is introduced with the idea that everyone can find and value their own spiritual path.
Federico Bardone trained in Australia, practicing Ashtanga Yoga for six years and studying sports science and rehabilitation at ACSF College. In 2017 he furthered his studies in India in classical Hatha Yoga, Alignment-based Yoga, Embodied Yoga and Advaita Vedanta philosophy with the teacher Parveen Nair, integrating the wisdom of the Vedas into somatic movement and movement meditation. Today, after a significant experience in China where he founded the Sadhana Yoga Center in Shenzhen, he mainly teaches Embodied Yoga, a practice based on sensoriality, interoception, fluid movement, and functional biomechanics, leading classes, workshops, and retreats, in Italy and abroad.
