Silvia Gribaudi is an Italian choreographer active in the performing arts. Since 2004 she has focused her artistic research on the social impact of the body, placing comedy and the relationship between spectator and performer at the centre of the choreographic language. She won the Premio Giovane Danza D'Autore with A CORPO LIBERO (2009), finalist for the Premio UBU as best dance performance and finalist for the Premio Rete Critica with R.OSA (2017), Premio CollaborAction#4 2018-2019, finalist for the Premio Rete Critica 2019, Premio DANZA&DANZA 2019 as best Italian production with GRACES and Premio Hystrio Corpo a Corpo 2021.
He has participated in artistic research projects such as: CHOREOROAM (2011), TRIPTYCH (2013), ACT YOUR AGE (2014) European project on active ageing through the art of dance, from which the performance WHAT AGE ARE YOU ACTING? and the territorial project OVER 60; PERFORMING GENDER (2015); CORPO LINKS CLUSTER (2019/2020) in which the relationship between dance, mountain and mountain community gave birth to the site specific project TREKKING COREOGRAFICO and the performance MONJOUR (2021) produced by Torinodanza Festival in collaboration with Teatro Stabile del Veneto and Les Halles de Schaerbeek - Bruxelles. In 2021 she was guest choreographer for "Danser Encore, 30 solos pour 30 danseurs", a project for the Opéra de Lyon and was selected by the international network Big Pulse Dance Alliance. Her performances are present in many National and International Festivals and are realised in creative processes where the dialogue and the poetic encounter with other artists, companies and communities are central.
