With gentleness and depth, Lama Michel Rinpoche takes us on a journey to rediscover happiness, interweaving personal anecdotes and profound reflections on our daily lives. With a clear and authentic gaze, he leads us straight to the heart of Buddhist teachings, revealing with simplicity and wisdom how to find an inner peace that often seems far away. But this is not an abstract lesson or a teaching made up of dogmas. Lama Michel speaks to us with humility, starting from the doubts and difficulties that each of us encounters every day. In clear language, he helps us to understand what happiness really is and how we can train our minds to achieve it, transforming the way we live our relationships, our work, our daily challenges. This book is a gift and an invitation to look at life with new eyes, to abandon rigid patterns and fears, to rediscover the value of awareness and kindness. Because each of us, in our own small way, can be part of the solution rather than part of the problem: in everyday difficulties as well as in the face of the great challenges of our time, from global crises to the indifference that alienates us from others.
Lama Michel Tulku Rinpoche was born in São Paulo, Brazil, in 1981. He is a Buddhist master and spiritual guide of several Buddhist centres around the world. Recognised as the reincarnation of a Tibetan master, at the age of 12 he decided to undertake a traditional education in India and Tibet under the guidance of Lama Gangchen Rinpoche and other distinguished masters, which he completed over the next 22 years. His ability to make the deep and vast Buddhist philosophy and practice accessible, clear and relevant to contemporary society makes him a valuable bridge between traditional wisdom and the needs of today's world, bringing a secular spirituality into everyday life.
He lives in Italy at the Albagnano Healing Meditation Centre on Lake Maggiore.
Albagnano Healing Meditation Centre is home to the Kunpen Lama Gangchen Association and the Temple of Heaven on Earth. A place of worship open to the public, it is dedicated to the study and practice of Tibetan Buddhism and is increasingly a point of reference for a community of people who share an interest in spirituality and a life in harmony with nature.
T.Y.S. Lama Gangchen Rinpoche, Tibetan master and healer, founded the Albagnano Healing Meditation Centre in 1999. A small Tibet that preserves Himalayan art and culture and hosts Tibetan lamas and other masters all year round.
