CROSS hosts the third stage of the UMMN project, or Una Maestosa Macchina Narrativa (A Majestic Narrative Machine), where media, artists and musicians of various kinds come together to explore the potential of creating visual imagery as a tool for discovery. UMMN - Mitridatizzazione asks how storytelling can be a tool for learning. And how can we tell stories through a total fusion of painting, sound, images and performance? The new iteration of the project is a multi-channel video work created with the support of The Solo House and director Marco Proserpio, with live sound by 2501 and Nunzio Cicero.

Jacopo Ceccarelli, also known as 2501 , is a multidisciplinary artist who works across painting, mural art, installation, writing, and film. He is fascinated by maps, architecture, and the social contradictions of urban spaces. For years, he has been exploring circular flow, recurrences, and other temporal forms. His murals can be seen around the world; over the past twenty years, he has exhibited in Europe, the U.S., and South America at galleries and museums. He participates in various international exhibitions and festivals such as the Luigi Pecci Center for Contemporary Art, the Milan Triennale, MACRO in Rome, and Basel Miami at Product / 81 Creative Lab; as well as public art festivals including O.BRA, Living Walls, ALTrove, Artmossphere Biennale, Walk& Talk, Wabash Arts Corridor, Outdoor, Mural, and the Painted Desert Project.

Nunzio Cicero, also known as UNK, is a creator of soundscapes, visual environments, and disruptive elements; a member of the Sun Wu Kung collective of artists and audiovisual creators, active in Italy since the 1990s; and co-founder of the Box art group and the Mikrosolke audiovisual performance group. He has participated in various international exhibitions and festivals, including the Tirana Biennale, CAM, and VHS+ at MAMBO in Bologna.
