Mombao is a duo formed by musiciansDamon Arabsolgar and Anselmo Luisi , who bring to life a collective experience of imagination oriented towards a human and solar punk future. Their performances are improvisations that intertwine concert and artistic performance. For the opening of CROSS Festival 2026, they present LIVE? , an album that captures the warm beat of sound — the sweat, the whistle, the vertigo — of a shared experience that cannot be fixed, except in the moment of the live performance. The Mombao project mixes original songs in multiple languages and popular songs from different cultures, reworked with an electronic and rock aesthetic. Their roots are deeply embedded in a multiplicity of folklore and rhythms, giving shape to a trans-territorial nature: a mystical, techno-punk ritual that leads from listening to liberating dance, making them one of the most iconic live acts of their generation.
