This journey represents an opportunity to approach and explore the dimensions of sound, voice, and singing as expressions of self. The voice, so unique and personal, tells us who we are, our potentials, and our limits. Laura Cuomo will guide participants from spoken voice to singing, becoming a tool for harmonization and communication. Part of the work will be dedicated to transmitting monodic and polyphonic ensemble songs from the repertoire of Southern Italy's folk tradition. Participants will explore their identity, connection with the Whole, and spirituality through the powerful medium of the human voice. Additionally, through vocal practices inspired by psychophony, Laura Cuomo will help the audience explore the dimensions of sound and voice as tools revealing our psycho-physical state. Singing leads us to greater self-awareness. During this journey, we will explore vocal practices that resonate our entire body, connecting the inner voice with the outer through conscious breathing, vocal explorations, and searching for postures conducive to vocal emission. Singing thus becomes a way to feel good, to seek connections with our deep self, with other participants, and with the surrounding places.
