Sinfonia H2O is a tribute to the essence of water, sacred source of life, origin of everything and guardian of memory. This work by Tecnologia Filosofica turns out to be a collective ritual, sound and visual; a symphony between dance and sound to reflect on the withering of our time and the need to keep our imagination alive, today more than ever. The experience invites us to immerse ourselves in a profound reflection on the fragile harmony of our planet, evoking the link between life and the climate change that threatens it. The stage is transformed into an archipelago of mirrors, where the body comes alive and the flow of sounds and actions envelops us. Singular objects -springs, scales, hourglasses- emerge as instruments in an imaginary alchemic laboratory. In this space of wonder, everything merges: water becomes a voice, the body becomes a wave and space a single universe: when you look at water, you look at the whole of humanity.
Francesca Cinalli, dancer and choreographer, and Paolo De Santis, musician and percussionist, within the collective Tecnologia Filosofica, are pursuing a personal research trajectory, Il Corpo Rituale. Francesca Cinalli is a graduate of IAT-GONG Scuola Biennale di Musica Danza Teatro dei Popoli in Genoa, where she practices and studies with masters from five continents: Tapa Sudana, Tadashi Endo, Karun Karan, Cecile Gordon, and Al Sheikh Nail Kesova. Paolo De Santis composes original soundscapes ranging from electroacoustic music to field recordings. He performed live the soundtrack for Solitudo at Torino Jazz Festival 2019. He collaborates with noise musician K. Haino for Hidden Body at Fabbrica Europa 2018. He collaborates with Luca Morino and Pier Luigi Pusole for 13600Hz, a concert for sewing machines by Sara Conforti at Artissima; with Phone Regis, he won the Non Solo Rock festival; with Onda Sonora, he won the Piceno Rock Festival, performing as a backing band for Planet Funk, Morgan, and Linea 77.
For years they have been collaborating with national and international cultural institutions: Cross Project; Italian Cultural Institute of Jakarta, Indonesia; IIC of Los Angeles; IIC of Seoul, Korea; Cie Atou of Lyon for the creations Hydden Body and Limpid Sun, Triennale d'Arte Setouchi in Japan; with Iranian director Milad Tangshir for the VR film Hydrocosmos with the support of Fondazione Piemonte dal Vivo and Coorpi, Museo del Cinema di Torino.
