The TurboSpiraproject was founded in 2021 by the duo Natalia Polvani and Guido Tattoni, working on installation and performance-based projects in which sound is an active presence and the central focus of investigation. Their research concentrates on the interactive dynamics between animate and inanimate elements, bringing into relation physical phenomena, environments, and acoustic devices.

Natalia Polvani is a lecturer and multimedia designer in the field of visual arts and graphic design, seeking to explore the dialogue between digital tools and analog practices.

Guido Tattoni is a sound engineer and sound designer who earned a bachelor’s degree in Recording Arts from Middlesex University (London), where he also completed a master’s degree in Creative Media Practice, and a degree in Computer Engineering from the Politecnico di Milano. His artistic research and practice encompass generative composition techniques, contemporary music, artificial intelligence, interaction design, and audio technologies, which also inform his doctoral studies at Creative Research into Sound Arts Practice (CRiSAP, University of the Arts London). He taught sound-related disciplines from 2003 to 2015 at the SAE Institute, where he served as Director, and at NABA - Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti Milano, he served as Department Head of Design and Applied Arts (2015–2019) and taught Sound Design; since 2019, he has been Director of the Academy, and since 2025, he has been Department Head of Visual Arts.
