Biodanza is a profound encounter with oneself, both body and soul. It is a language of movement, gaze, and gesture, allowing authentic emotions to be expressed and deep, meaningful connections to be formed. The two-day workshop, led by Tiziana Coda Zabet and Antonella Luminosa Cavalcante, offers an immersive experience in this practice, which the two trainers describe as the art of encounter. Through music and movement, participants will explore the joy of free expression, enhancing personal well-being and strengthening their connection with themselves and others. A collective journey designed to foster authentic connections and deepen the sense of community—like a tribe that finds support and harmony in shared movement. In the flow of dance, the body rediscovers its voice, its rhythm, and its breath.
Antonella Cavalcante has been passionately involved in theatre, dance, and singing since 2000. In 2006, her encounter with Michael Margotta — director and member of the Actor's Studio in New York — marked a turning point in her artistic and personal journey, leading her to explore a holistic vision of theatrical expression that integrates body and soul. In 2016, her experience with Cristobal Jodorowsky led her onto a profound path of inner transformation, and she began collaborating with him as an assistant. Today, she devotes herself to one-on-one treatments, movement and body expression workshops, massage therapy, tarot reading, and theatre. In 2023, she deepened her study of Biodanza and Family Constellations, expanding her research into the psychological and biological dimensions of the human experience. At the same time, she continues her shamanic path, connecting with universal energy and the wisdom of nature.
Tiziana Coda-Zabet was a primary school teacher, focusing on relational dynamics and health education. She began her training in classical dance and later specialized in jazz and contemporary dance, Zen meditation, theatre, aikido, tai chi, Biodanza, massage, flower therapy, and Reiki, studying in Italy, Argentina, Brazil, and Sri Lanka. In 1968, together with Massimo Strumia, she founded the first Zen dojo in Turin. In the 1990s, she discovered Biodanza, becoming a certified teacher and co-director of the Biodanza Training School in Piedmont. She collaborated with schools and projects dedicated to people with Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s disease. She has organized conferences and contributed to publications on “Paths of Healing”, presented Biodanza at Torino Spiritualità, and served as President of the Biodanza Italia Association from 2010 to 2013. In 2009, she founded the first Biocentric Parent-led School in Turin, and since 2017 she has coordinated the annual Symposium on Biocentric Education.
