#TRE

Qui e Ora Residenza Teatrale
Fall 2019

#TRE focuses on the body and the image that each of us tries to look like or from which we try to escape. Famous icons that have occupied and occupy our imagination, but also ordinary people who become icons for us to imitate. Up to the bodies of the three actresses as “icons” to act as a mirror. A work process that involves looking into the bodies of the performers for assonances with the icons crossed, the resonances between personal stories and the mythical stories of the contemporary. Icon, success, value … words that come back and illuminate the question in a different light: but how much is a human being worth? How do we look at others? Do we project dreams? Satisfactions and dissatisfactions? Envy and inability? How long do we want to be the life of the other? Who are the ICONS? What do they represent? What are we available to do to meet the “famous”? These are the questions of the first phase of #TRE’s work, a research that investigates the bodies, creating visual pictures, physical tales, video fragments and interlocutions with the spectators.
