EPISODE 2 CRISOL – Creative Processes project, the East Asia Path

The project, funded by the Italian Ministry of Culture thanks to Boarding Pass Plus 2019, is an innovative and ambitious project that proposes dialogue and cooperation between an Italian network of partners and several international organizations and festivals. Discover a collaborative project between artists from Italy, India, Hong Kong, China, Macau and Singapore. The episod, with the participation of Giulia Poli and coordinated by Valentina Riccardi, includes interviews with Maurizia Settembri Project Leader of CRISOL, Raymond Wong General Manager of the City Contemporary Dance Company in Hong Kong, Jayachandran Palazhy Artistic Director of the Attakkalari Centre for Movement Arts in Bangalore, India, and Fabrizio Massini Italian Dramaturg working between Italy and China.

From 2019 CROSS Project participates in a prestigious international project within the Boarding Pass 2019 call funded by MiBAC. The project involves several Italian and international partners and aims to promote international co-production actions. The project involves the creation of a network of international partners, in three different continents, who will participate in the co-production of new projects that enhance the most innovative creative energies in sharing an international horizon. In particular, the CROSS Project is entrusted with the care of the “Far East” project, which also involves Fabbrica Europa and various Asian partners in different countries.

CROSS Project is committed to creating contexts, experiences and training and laboratory projects through which it continues to make the most of the experience gained over the years within the LIS LAB creative nest. The ability to create human and site-specific projects is valued as a tool to bring contemporary performance languages closer to each other in national and international contexts involving young and training audiences. In 2019 CROSS Project takes care of the international project Plovdiv by Senses, through which it involves young artists at the end of their high school and artistic training in the production of a site-specific itinerant performance.

From 2019 CROSS participates in the creation of the national network consisting of houses, theater performances and a passionate audience of TeatroxCasa. The goal of the project is to allow quality shows to live and spread freely and independently, allowing the public to choose, advise, promote and propose their tastes. Teatroxcasa was born from a reflection on sharing, participation, freedom, cultural protest and the power of choice. The shows on Teatroxcasa are designed to enter a living room, because culture can be light and space-saving, so much so that it can be anywhere … especially in your homes.
