Pseudonym of Dario Tronchin, is an Italian techno DJ and label owner. With music released on Stroboscopic Artefacts and Non Series, Tronchin launched his own label Enklav – meanwhile DJing and performing live at clubs and festivals such as Atonal, Berghain, Concrete, Village Underground, De School, Nuits Sonores and roBOt, among others. Chevel’s highest profile release to date came in late 2015 with the LP Blurse on Stroboscopic Artefacts, which garnered attention from international press such as The Wire, ResidentAdvisor and Pitchfork, to name a few, with the latter describing Tronchin as “a young producer who doesn’t just make techno but takes it apart, rearranges it, breaks it down.”
